The ALIC4E Trial: Antivirals for influenza Like Illness? An rCt of Clinical- and Cost-effectiveness in primary CarE is the first publicly-funded randomised controlled trial of its kind to assess the (cost-)effectiveness of antiviral treatment for influenza in primary care. At this final meeting that took place 3-4 October 2018, we celebrated an incredible international achievement of having randomised 3268 participants into the ALIC4E study, which is part of the PREPARE Consortium, funded by the EU.
