The acute respiratory infection study within MERMAIDS has recruited over 1000 patients. The 1000th patient was recruited in the Primary Care Network, Ireland by Kingston Medical Centre. ARI studies have recruited well this season, due to the increased influenza cases and the hard work at the recruiting sites.
PED-MERMAIDS is now recruiting well with 340 participants and is regularly adding more sites.
MERMAIDS-ARBO recruitment begins at the beginning of May for season 3. Total recruitment for the study so far is 425 and we are excited to have a couple of new sites to join the PREPARE network.
